Houndry operates multiple pet care brands across the U.S., and we're looking for a Pet Care Recruiter to help grow our amazing team of pet lovers. This is a part-time role offering 30 hours per week with competitive pay based on experience.

As our Pet Care Recruiter, you'll play a key role in bringing those values to life by identifying and hiring dedicated individuals who share our commitment to caring for pets with purpose and precision.

What You'll Do

• Post job listings across multiple platforms for several pet care brands
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates primarily dog walkers, cat sitters, and pet sitters
• Funnel qualified applicants through our internal recruitment process
• Assist with onboarding and hiring documentation
• Provide weekly recruitment reports and insights to management
• Analyze recruitment platform performance to optimize reach and budget
• Help standardize and document recruitment processes

What We're Looking For

• Recruitment experience (pet care experience a plus!)
• Familiarity with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems
• Strong communication and writing skills; confident with Zoom interviews
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Job Details

• Part-Time: 30 hours/week
• Hybrid: 2 days per week (15 hours) required in-office; remaining hours may be worked remotely
• Flexible scheduling Monday - Friday, 9am 5pm CST
• Pay: $23-$25/hour, depending on experience
